Download dropline GNOME Now!

1. Before you do anything else, it is suggested that you read the following thread that details the packages that are replaced on a stock Slackware system:
http://dropline-gnome.sourceforge.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4739
2. Next, you should download the dropline Installer. This is a small curses based interface that will allow you to install dropline GNOME, and keep your installation of GNOME up to date. - 3. Once you've done this, you need to pick how you're going to obtain the packages that make up dropline GNOME itself.

Internet
This is the preferred method of getting packages and updates in dropline GNOME.
After downloading the installer, execute the following commands as root:
# installpkg dropline-installer-2.12.3-i686-2dl.tgz # dropline-installer
Use the menus to select your installation style, and the the Installer will handle the rest. If you choose to install from your hard disk, ensure you have already downloaded all of the dropline GNOME packages and have them stored in your preferred dropline download directory--by default, this is /var/cache/dropline-installer.
Updates to dropline GNOME are made regularly and can be automatically downloaded and installed by typing the same command and selecting "Upgrade" from the menu.

CD ISO Torrent
BitTorrent is available as the preferred method of distributing the ISO image. This is both fast and reliable. This CD image includes all of the binary packages from the 2.12.2 release.
For those that cannot use BitTorrent, the ISO is also available from these direct download locations...
